Gaurav’s Spring Summer 14 collection drew visual references from the religious habit (dress) at 'Missionary of Charity' order and portrait of an old women by Hans Hambling (1470-75). The collection also is a contextualization of the state of current affairs in the country in a recent past and is suggesting a new approach to chieve stability and balance.

Clothes were the social psychological aspect of appearance; the blue (colour of virgin mary) stripe which is an integral part of cotton saree of the sisters of the order, were used along with the colors from Memling's painting. Engineered hand woven jacquard checks was developed along with stripes.

Washed out cotton silks with crushed jacquards in blacks and stainless steel were used in easy separates. Hand woven entirely at akaaro studios in Delhi with natural yarns the collection was a symbolic transition from chaos to calmness.
